i keep seeing this post around and i hate to harsh everyone’s buzz, but this is a japanese production–if it ever makes it to US theaters, it’ll be for like a day in a limited release. it’d be more surprising if there were any white actors in this, tbh. it ain’t made for a western audience. it’s made for a japanese one. of course the cast is gonna be japanese. same thing happened with the theoretically white characters in the attack on titan movies.
